Robert Beverly Hale is recognized as one of Americas greatest teacher of Figure Drawing and artistic Anatomy. His legendary classes at the Art Students League in New York, where he taught for forty years, inspired generations of artists. Now Contrapposto is proud to present the first video in a series of 10 rare recordings of his famous Art Anatomy course. We have edited, digitally restored, and remastered these videos and although they are old, poorly shot, and reflect a late point in Mr. Hale’s career they still capture his magnetic charm and unsurpassed knowledge of the subjects of drawing and Artistic Anatomy.

I’m trying to improve my artistic skills and recently I began getting interested in Figure Drawing of nude models. Does anyone have any clear photographs of such models? Please link them here. Thanks.
I can’t go to a figure drawing class since my parents won’t let me.. I’m still a minor.

Sorry but if you are a minor that would be illegal.

Why not work with people you know. Get a girl friend to sit topless for you. get a guy to pose in his swim suit and draw him from the waist up.

There are lots of how to draw figures book that will help you in the library – they all cover the issues of drawing nudes.

I am sure there are many artists who are famous for using the human body or drawing or sculting features such as muscle and bone but i haven’t found any?

It is for my GCSE and i want to relate other artist work to my peice (which is a face showing muscle and bone)

gunther von haggen. i think that’s his name. he’s totally sick but you’ll probably get what you’re looking for.

da vinci did those drawings of muscles in his notebooks, they’re really famous, just look him up and you’ll find pictures of them.

My nephew is doing his science fair project on octopus reproduction. I’ve found several sites that have good images and diagrams of the male and female anatomy. However, we are still trying to find at least one really good diagram. We’d like to find one that shows and diagrams the male sex arm. I’ve searched Google images and the best I was able to get was the generalized diagram of the male Anatomy. Any ideas?
